Designing feedback FCS in Canada

Under a 3-week course at ITPS we’re examining the modern Flight Control Systems. I am mostly involved in the F-16 flight simulator demonstrating and guiding the students through various feedback controls and evaluation tasks.

An interesting case that was lectured upon this morning was the V-22 Osprey flight test crash by DM who worked more than 15 years on the project. This aircraft was really a case with very demanding flight controls…

So, back in Canada (the place Ntina was born) meeting again some of my instructors and some new flight test students who are struggling to balance between report-writing and flights.

Feels nice to be on the instructor side.. :-)
