Flying over Athens and the Saronic gulf

After 14 months, flying again over Greece as PIC. Three flights of a total of almost 4 hours were logged this weekend performing some touch and go’s at LGTT and LGMG as well as some navigation over Attica  and Saronic gulf in a Cessna 172M.

During the navigation flight we flew over Egina at 1,500 ft admiring the beauty of the Greek islands, the traditional houses, small gulfs with boats and ancient temples that can be clearly seen from above.

Some pics attached filling in a navigation flight plan the old-fashioned way (hand-written!) and flying over the Olympic stadium and Egina.
